Ever since my old go-to has been discontinued I've been looking for a good L-ascorbic acid based Vitamin C product that won't break me out and smell good at the same time. Byrana's vitamin C oil was the answer. I've been using it for a few weeks now and my face is brighter without a single pimple in sight!
I use this serum when I apply the foundation/make-up. It dilutes the thick concentrations of the foundation and gives smooth application to the skin. It gives sufficient hydration and brightening effects.
I have oily skin so I like using a minimal number of products. I use it as a serum but it works really well as a moisturiser too. It's perfect for anyone who wants to use just 1 product! It's non-sticky and my skin looks so much brighter already after a few days.

I’m obsessed with the Byrana Vitamin C Brilliant Glow Serum—it’s hands down my favorite! Most Vitamin C serums smell like hotdog water, but this one has a nice light citrus scent and feels so smooth, almost like a lotion. My skin looks brighter, more even, and super glowy, plus it feels soft and hydrated. Honestly, for the price and how well it works, this is a no-brainer for me
I love how hydrating and soothing this serum is. I have rosacea so my skin reacts and becomes red with most skincare brands and products, but it hasn't reacted at all with this serum. My skin has never looked so glowing and the serum mixes well with foundation. I'll be repurchasing for sure!
It's really moisturising and has not irritated my sensitive skin or broken me out at all PLUS it feels luxurious, which I feel is rare for sensitive skin products. I can't use retinol because of my sensitive skin, so I'm really glad I've got this bakuchiol cream which has similar effects. The airless applicator pump is super easy to use and a fun way to keep the cream nice and fresh.
This is my new essential to keep my skin hydrated on makeup free days as well as under makeup. I would definitely recommend!
